Oppo Releases ColorOS 7 Update for R17 Pro

Oppo launched the R17 smartphone in the third quarter of 2018. The smartphone came with good enough specifications with a dual-camera setup on its back. The R17 Pro was launched with Android 8.1 Pie, and according to ColorOS officials, the R-series smartphone will get an Android 10 update today. The trial for the Android 10 version for the R17 starts on 18th March 2020.

Oppo R17 Pro comes with a 6.40-inch display with 1080x 2340 pixels, and the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor.

Furthermore, the smartphone features 8GB of RAM. The dual-camera setup on its back consists of a 12MP camera and 20MP sensors. Reno 2Z features a battery capacity of 3700mAh which promises an all-day-long power backup.

Coming back to the Android 10 update status of R17 Pro, ColorOS is announced on Twitter officially that the Oppo R17 Pro ColorOS 7 Android trial version will commence today. The device will be soon getting the Android 10 update and ColorOS 7 on the top.

However, the update will not be available to every Oppo R-series smartphone user. Only 2000 users will get a chance to have this Android 10 trial version. Interested users can apply for the trial today. Only the lucky users will get the trial version update in the next three days. Also, if you are not selected, you will be getting another chance so, you can apply for the second batch of testers.

To apply for the trial version update, the users need to go to Settings and tap on the Software Updates. It will take the users to another tab called Trial version, and then they need to fill up the details. If they get selected, the user will get the trial version update in the next three days.
