Xiaomi launched four products in a single day on April 30, 2020. The launch included the much-awaited Redmi Note 9 series- Note 9, and Note 9 Pro. Mi Note 10 Lite also was tagged along for the launch. The last addition was that of a Mi Smart Standing Fan 1C.

Redmi Note 9

This is the third entry in the Redmi Note 9 series. The Redmi Note 9 is Xiaomi’s brand new vanilla model. It features a 6.53-inch IPS display with an FHD resolution. It has a standard 13-inch punch-hole cutout selfie camera. The rear has a quad camera and comprises a 48MP Samsung GM1 main sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and two 2MP lenses— one for macro stills, and second one for depth.

It houses the new MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. Redmi Note 9 runs on an octa-core CPU. The Mali-G52 GPU fits alongside Xiaomi’s Helio G80 and Helio G90T SoCs. The phone is available with either 3/4GB RAM and 64/128GB storage. It is powered by a powerful 5,020 mAh battery with 18W fast wired charging.

The new Redmi Note 9 is priced at $199 or €183 for the 3GB/64GB model. The 4GB/128GB model is available for $249 or €230.

Redmi Note 9 Pro (Global)

The Global Redmi Note 9 Pro model is identical to what Indian customers know as Note 9 Pro Max. It is confusing thanks to Xiaomi’s naming scheme. Moving on, the Note 9 Pro (Global) packs a 6.67 FHD+ IPS display. It has a 32 MP selfie camera. At the rear again it comes with a quad-camera set. The main shooter is 64 MP, with an 8MP ultrawide lens. There are a 5MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor.

Redmi Note 9 Pro (Global) runs on a Snapdragon 720G chipset. This model also is powered by 5,020 mAh battery and supports wired fast charging.

The Redmi Note 9 series will be available in 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB variants. The 6GB/64GB model is priced $269 or €247 while the 6GB/128GB at $299 or €275.

Mi Note 10 Lite

The Mi Note 10 lite retains the premium features of Mi Note 10 albeit with few tweaks. The rear camera design now has four cameras instead of five. It retains the 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with curved edges.

The quad-camera boasts of a 64-MPSony IMX686 sensor-based main camera. This is tagged alongside an 8-MP wide-angle camera, a 2-MP macro camera, and a 5-MP depth camera. It does away with the 108 MP camera of the standard Note 10. Its selfie camera is of 32MP.

There’s a Snapdragon 730G chip 30,2020that’s paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB. The 5260mAh battery is promised to deliver up to two days on a single charge and to fill it up, there’s a 30W wired fast charging system baked in.
