It has almost been a year since the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Vivo had introduced the Vivo Z1 Pro. The phone was on the affordable side, and it mostly received positive feedbacks, from critics as well as its users. However, only this month, the developers at Vivo released the second update for this smartphone.

A user who goes by the Twitter handle name @TechTipster_ tweeted about what appears to be the second update of this month. According to the tweet, the smartphone Vivo Z1 Pro started receiving the second update of this month that comes with the Firmware version – Vivo rev 6.10.2. The total size of the new update is 163.47 MB.

The new update is geared towards making the smartphone OS more stable. It also focuses on optimizing power consumption so that it gets a better battery life. Another update for the system would be the optimization of the display effect of the notification bar and status bar.

The update also optimized network adaptability and stability. Another minor fix would be regarding the gallery. Some users had complained that they could not share albums directly to Facebook, and the new update fixes this issue. The system update message comes with a few warnings, rather clarifications, which reinstates that the update does not delete or modify the usage data.

Furthermore, the update does not occupy the phone memory space or affect its running speed; lastly, the message mentions that during the update the temperature of the smartphone may increase by a slight margin but it would return to normal after the update is complete.

This is not the only smartphone to have received the update. Notably, the Vivo V9 which was introduced in 2018 also received the same update, Vivo rev 6.10.2 in January of this year. The main reason for the delay would be the fact that this update is rolled out in batches, and it may take some time before it reaches other Vivo smartphones as well.
