After launching the Horizon Notebooks, Xiaomi India has announced yet another exciting product for its Indian customers, Mi Horizon Edition Smart TV.

Xiaomi India, in a recent tweet, announced that the company will soon bring a smart TV in a Mi Horizon edition. The new edition of the smart TV will be launched on September 7, 2020.

The Tweet ended there, and as cryptic and closed-off as that may sound, there is very little information known about the upcoming new edition smart TV.

Although the key specifications of the upcoming product are yet to be made public, a teaser of what to expect from the smart TV is indeed available. The information released by Mi India states that the horizon edition TV will come equipped with ‘Quintessential Display Tech’ that will deliver accurate color pictures while at the same time being easy and soothing on the eyes.

The smart TV will obviously come with Xiaomi’s very own PatchWall UI to give its customers unparalleled content across a vast range of platforms.

The PatchWall itself is a very commendable UI that Xiaomi has been able to come up with. It not only minimizes, if not completely obliterates the user’s need to download various OTTs so that they could access certain content, it also offers universal search across various Xiaomi partners.

Why Be Content with Content” certainly does justice to everything that the PatchWall is able to achieve. Furthermore, the smart TV will also offer 5000+ apps giving its users access to almost every other app available there. Furthermore, the upcoming TV also will offer uninterrupted viewing with the Quick Wake feature.

If the TV remains in a dormant state, a quick gesture perhaps could wake the TV up, so that the user would not have to start the device again, and could pick up where they left it off. As mentioned earlier, Mi India will launch the Horizon Edition smart TV on September 7, and the pricing of the TV will be revealed soon.
