Instagram has recently launched a new and improvised Home screen in their app. We can now see a Reels and Shop tab in one of these layouts. The Reels have rolled out to around 50 different regions. Instagram has scaled the new feature up quickly, because of the high demand for the same.

The Instagram Reels is their TikTok look alike feature which will allow the users to create short, fifteen-second long videos set to background music. A replacement for TikTok for the security issues, this could be a great way for Instagram to pull more users.

Instagram Reels is for people, creators, and businesses to create and discover short, entertaining videos on Instagram. The user can record and edit 15-second multi-clip videos with audio, effects, and new creative tools. Reels will allow people to express themselves and entertain others while trying out a new dance or spreading good messages. Reels can be shared in Feed and from public accounts.

This way content will thus be visible to a larger audience. If the account is private, only the followers will be able to view the reels.

There will also be a lot of creative editing tools on the left side of your screen for the user to create reel and also music can be searched from the Instagram music library for the Reel. People and businesses can also use their own original audio by simply recording a reel with it.

The new Instagram design will also have other features like Line up objects from the previous clip before recording your next, which helps create seamless transitions for moments like outfit changes.
