Samsung has finally launched the new M-series smartphone in India on 11th March 2021. The new smartphone, the Galaxy M12 has popped up for the last few weeks on various websites, indicating the imminent launch.
Some of the key features of the smartphone that had been guessed before the launch matches with the official product. The smartphone sports a few standard features, but what makes the smartphone stand out is the massive 6,000mAh battery, the quad-camera setup on its back, and a display screen that offers a 90Hz refresh rate.
The newly launched Samsung Galaxy M12 features a 6.5-inches HD+ TFT Infinity V display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an 8 nm Exynos 850 chipset. Moreover, the smartphone offers up to 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory storage.
As for the camera, the smartphone sports a quad-camera setup at the back, following the contemporary design. The quad-camera set up consists of a 48 MP primary camera sensor, 5 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2 MP macro shooter and a 2 MP depth sensor.
As for the selfie camera, the Galaxy M12 sports an 8MP front camera. Apart from featuring the massive 6000mAh battery, the smartphone also comes with a 15W charging adapter. Additionally, the Galaxy M12 runs Android 11-based One UI 3.1.
For most smartphones of the M series, Samsung made the series pocket-friendly and affordable. The same goes for the Galaxy M12. The smartphone comes in two memory variants: 4GB of RAM with 64 GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal memory.
The 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at INR. 10,999, and the 6GB RAM+ 128GB of internal storage option is priced at INR. 13,499. The Galaxy M12 is offered in blue, black, and white color variants. The sale for the smartphone starts on March 18th.
