Infinix has just confirmed September 13 as the global launch event date for its new product, the Infinix Zero X. The Hong Kong-based smartphone maker has been tweeting from its official Twitter account with hashtags like #SeeBeyond, #FromZeroToHero, all of which suggest the information above.

Now, although there are the Zero X, Zero X Neo, and Zero X Pro phones all reportedly in existence, it is said that the company will be announcing only the Zero X phone during the launch on Sep.13.

Recall that in August, Infinix confirmed the launch of a phone that will be powered by the Helio G96 chipset, and both the Zero X and Zero X Pro are expected to come with the new Helio chipset. There are still about five days to go before the launch, and Infinix has enough time to reveal some more features and specifications of the upcoming Zero X.

Some leaked Infinix ZERO X specifications.

Very early this September, XDA Developers shared some spoilers when it revealed the Stellar Black version of the Infinix Zero X. From the leak, it could be seen that the smartphone lacks a physical fingerprint scanner. This suggests a kind of internal fingerprint sensor possibly powered by an OLED panel. The camera module at the back of the Zero X was rectangular in shape, containing a triple camera system and a quad-LED flash unit. It is rumored that the triple camera system has a periscope zoom lens thus confirming Infinix’s tweets about Super Moon Mode shots that the Zero X will be offering.

Another feature that is being speculated is that the Zero X will possibly have a sampling rate of 90Hz or 120Hz. It could also be powered by a 5,000mAh battery pack that will be fully compatible with fast charging.

So we wait in full anticipation for this beautiful product from Infinix to land on the market.
