Vivo’s senior vice president Shi Yujian announced on December 16 that the Chinese brand Vivo will be the first company to be equipped with Dimensity 9000 flagship platform; moreover, Shi Yujian also made a further announcement through a video that the company will continue to work alongside MediaTek so as to bring its users excellent products in the future.
The Dimensity 9000 flagship platform uses TSMC’s 4nm process technology along with the Cortex-X2 architecture and supports LPDDR5x 7500Mbps memory. Undoubtedly, this makes the Dimensity 9000 flagship one of the most competitive mobile SoCs. The BenchMark running score of Dimensity 9000 reveals that the chipset has surpassed the flagship chips in the Android camp available on the market.
It goes without saying that Vivo is one of the leading mobile companies that have focused extensively on improving imaging technology. The inclusion of the Dimensity 9000 will only take Vivo a step further in this direction, especially because of the fact that the image processing capability of the flagship has improved significantly.
Equipped with a built-in flagship 18-bit HDR-ISP image signal processor along with 320 MP camera image signal capture ability, the device can capture simultaneous photos with a maximum of 32 MP HDR video.
Of late, Vivo has also been one of the pioneering companies to work on 5G technology, screens, imaging, and charging. In 2021, the company cooperated with MediaTek to come up with a variety of all-around models. Another Chinese tech company Redmi has announced the Redmi K50 series which will be the first flagship to be equipped with the Dimensity 9000 flagship chipset. Moreover, there is a Redmi K50 game enhanced version that has been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
