Mi Pad 5 Pro New Version is Likely to Be Released on December 28th

General manager of Redmi and president of Xiaomi China Lu Weibing, announced today, on December 27, that the large memory version of the Mi pad five will debut by the side of the Mi 12 series on the evening of December 28, and also the company is gearing up to launch keyboard case in a new color.

Mi Pad 5 and Pro officially launched back in August; at that time, few tipsters hinted at three tablets under the Mi Pad; however, the lineup had only two tablets on its shelves, the standard Mi Pad 5 and the exclusive Mi Pad 5 Pro.

The Mi Pad 5 is a classic version equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset, while the Mi Pad 5 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 870 processor. As far as display resolution is concerned, both models feature an 11-inch display with a clear explanation of 2560×1600 pixels. The Mi Pad features a high refresh rate of 120Hz.

When it comes to the camera, the Mi Pad 5 features a single 13MP primary sensor, while the Mi Pad 5 Pro is of 18MP lens. Mi Pad 5/Pro has a built-in heavy 8600mAh and 8720mAh lithium batteries, respectively. Xiaomi’s Mi Pad 5 Pro currently provides 6GB+128GB and 6GB+256GB storage specifications, only supporting Wi-Fi, Xiaomi offers the Mi Pad 5 Pro at a price tag of 2499 (Rs 28,700) yuan and 2799 (Rs.32,940) yuan respectively, moreover, the 5G version of the device is available only in the 8GB+256GB version which comes at a price sticker of 3499 yuan (Rs.41,171).

Judging from the posters, the new revamped device is expected to come with 8GB+256GB and belongs to the Wi-Fi version. Xiaomi is considered to reduce the machine’s price tag to offer users more choices. The large memory craft makes sure the fluid multitasking switching. 

At the press conference scheduled to be conducted tomorrow, Xiaomi could open its door to showcase the MIUI 13 Pad system, which is peculiarly designed for tablets. This system will have a ” multi-task free window function that can display multiple small application windows on the screen. Moreover, the officials of Xiaomi said that the system had been adapted to 3000 commonly used applications.
