After the introduction of the popular iPhone 13 series in September 2021, the American smartphone giant Apple is gearing up to unveil a new line-up, the iPhone 14 series, probably in the last quarter of the year, as speculations reveal October 2022.

However, before the official launch of the upcoming iPhone 14, the smartphone received several speculations ranging from its design to features and system software. As we just discovered via a Twitter post today, the design of the upcoming iPhone 14 pro was leaked online ahead of the official launch.

Picturing the leaked images shows that the upcoming iPhone 14 pro will come with cutouts and a larger camera module and a display panel gives users a very clear look at the new pill-and-hole camera and Face ID cutouts that could replace the display notch.

The leaked design indicates that Apple has sponged the Samsung S10 and S10+ in the hole punches, with slightly slimmer bezels and uses 19.5:9 and 20:9 aspect ratios, respectively. With this, the upcoming iPhone 14 compared to Google Pixel 7 as a face-off this fall figures to be quite an interesting battle.

Recall that last month, we reported that the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro, as well as 14 Pro Max, is expected to feature a more prominent camera bump and a thicker overall design increase by 25 to 35 percent, due to the all-new 48MP wide camera systems, as confirmed by a reputable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

According to Kuo, Apple will upgrade the front-facing camera of the iPhone 14 series to support autofocus, with an aperture of about f/1.9 to provide better portrait and cinematic modes shots than the iPhone 13’s fixed focal length and f/2.2 aperture. In addition, the autofocus feature and wider aperture would provide a better shallow depth of field for selfies to improve focus quality for FaceTime, video calls, and live streaming.

Consequently, the latest development shows that the American mobile giant has made significant design changes over the past four generations of iPhones with the noticeable screen notch, new pill-and-hole camera, and Face ID cutouts.
