Today marks another milestone in the mobile world as the Finnish multinational technology company, Nokia officially unveiled three new family phone series and a tablet. The mobile brand introduced the new family series at a launch event today namely Nokia 2660 Flip, Nokia 8210 4G, Nokia 5710 XpressAudio, and Nokia T10 tablet.

The Nokia T10 is at the top of all for being a compact tablet similar to the earlier Nokia T20. However, all the new family series are expected to arrive this month come July 27. Now, let’s take a tour of the Nokia new family series.

Nokia 2660 Flip

The new Nokia 2660 Flip is a flip-capable model with dual-SIM 4G/LTE, a flash in addition to the main camera, and expandable storage. The new smartphone also includes a removable battery and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It appears to be just another, albeit significantly smaller at 55 x 108 x 18.9 mm in size, taking on the basic feature phone of its form-factor, but it packs a surprising number of surprisingly modern abilities and amenities for its size.

The 2660 Flip shares most of its internals with the new 8210 4G, though it lacks the VoLTE and Bluetooth 5.0 found in the larger button phones with which it debuted. The 2660 Flip, on the other hand, has the same main screen as well as an additional 1.77-inch QVGA cover display.

Nokia 8210 4G

The Nokia 8210 4G is based on the classic model released in 1999, but it has been updated on all fronts. There’s a 2.8-inch QVGA color display, LTE connectivity, and microSD card support for up to 32GB of storage. The phone is made of polycarbonate and is available in sand, blue, and red colors.

A removable 1,450 mAH battery provides up to 6 hours of 4G talk time and up to 19 days of standby time. Other features include an FM radio receiver that works with both wired and wireless earbuds, an MP3 player, and the popular Snake game.

Nokia 5710 XpressAudio

The Nokia 5710 XpressAudio aims to put the feature back into feature phones by serving as a charging case for its pair of TWS earbuds. It also includes 4G/LTE connectivity with VoLTE, expandable memory, and an FM radio in its traditional button-laden design.

The 5710 XpressAudio is unquestionably the star of today’s HMD Global 2022 feature phone event. Its design (in two two-tone colorways) evokes classic Nokia button phone vibes – until you realize it’s also a slider in that part of its back can move down to reveal a silo for TWS earbuds.

Because of its Unisoc T107 SoC and Motor 4G RTOS, the 5710 XpressAudio also has dual 4G/LTE SIM slots and can accept microSD cards up to 32GB in size. It has a more genre-appropriate ROM and RAM size of 128MB and 48MB, respectively.

Additionally, the mobile brand claims that the 5710 XpressAudio can function as an MP3 player and even has the increasingly rare feature of FM radio support. The company also boasts long screen-on times for its 2.8-inch QVGA screen, even though its 1,450mAh battery must also power a pair of earbuds in this case. On that note, it’s more than a little disappointing that the new 5710 only has a micro USB port for charging.

Nokia T10

The Nokia T10 is an Android-based tablet with an 8-inch display that is well suited to portability. In contrast to the Nokia T20, which has an aluminum case, this has a polymer body – plastic – that is designed to avoid scratches and withstand some abuse.

The 8-inch display has a resolution of 1280 x 800 and a peak brightness of 450 nits. The tablet is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T606 chipset, and it will be available in 3/32GB and 4/64GB configurations, with both supporting microSD expansion up to 512GB.

A 5250mAh battery with 10W charging should get you through the day. There are Wi-Fi and LTE versions available, so you can always stay connected. Likewise, there’s also an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera in the new tablet, and expected to price at £129. Follow TechGenyz for more updates.
