Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro Get NBTC Approval, Launch Imminent

As we know, the Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi has been gearing up to unveil two new flagship devices into the mobile market – Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro. The duo devices have just been spotted for completing the NBTC approval process.

A popular mobile leaker just revealed the NBTC approval certification documents via its official Twitter page. The document shows some details of the upcoming devices with the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro sporting 22071212AG and 22081212UG code models, respectively.

Previously, the duo devices had initially appeared on the FCC Federal Communications Commission database for certification. Likewise, the SIRIM, Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia recently. Therefore, it is assumed that the launch date of the new devices is around the corner. Now, what are the specs of the devices?

Xiaomi 12T Specs

The base of the Xiaomi 12T will flaunt a 108MP imaging lens, FHD+ resolution screen, and MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra SoC tied to 8GB memory capacity and 256GB of storage space. The device is expected to sport a 5000mAh battery capacity and fast charging, which will not exceed 120W of the Xiaomi 12T Pro.

Xiaomi 12T Pro Specs 

The Xiaomi 12T Pro will be equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED FHD+ display and will offer a 144Hz refresh rate. The display will also feature an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security. Under the hood, the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It will run on Android 12-based MIUI 13.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the device could house a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 200MP Samsung HP1 primary sensor with OIS, EIS, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper. On the front, it may have a 32MP snapper for selfies and video calls. Further, it is expected to have a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

Pricing and Launch Date

As it stands now, the pricing of the duo phones is unknown yet; they are expected to be within the range of ₹49,990 and ₹40,990 for the 12T Pro and 12T, respectively. However, given the approval of the NBTC certification and other earlier certifications, it is expected that the launch date of the duo smartphones is imminent.
