The Sony Xperia 1 III was among the few smartphones on the golden rim; now, the company has prepared a sequel dubbed Sony Xperia 1 IV. Sony launched Xperia 1 IV exclusive accessory, the gaming fan docking station Xperia Stream and the device at Sony’s product launch conference. Sony unleashed the 16GB + 512GB version of the Xperia 1 IV alongside the Xperia 1 IV Gaming Edition with the fan dock.

Apart from the original Xperia 1 IV, we have a few variants that also follow the same tracks as the original.

The handset is deftly developed with incredible features that ratchet up the machine’s performance. The Sony Xperia 1 IV features a 6.5-inch 4K AMOLED display similar to the previous generation alongside a 21:9 screen ratio with support for a 120Hz refresh rate

Under the hood, the machine unsheaths the cutlass Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship processor. Which also can be expanded through the MicroSD slot and runs the Android 12 system.

Camera configurations of Sony Xperia 1 IV

As far as the camera is concerned, the Sony Xperia 1 IV sports a 1/1.7-inch sensor and supports OIS optical image stabilization. Whilst the ultra wide-angle camera has a 1/2.5-inch sensor that supports autofocus. Besides these, the periscope telephoto camera is a 1/3.5-inch sensor that has support for OIS and autofocus. The firm says the three cameras support 4k video that snaps at 120 frames per second. It also offers optical image stabilization with FlawlessEye, eye autofocus, and real-time object tracking and autofocus. 

Battery specifications

Perhaps, merely nothing can run without a battery. This device is no exception to that; the Xperia 1 IV has been enhanced by 500 mAh juxtaposed with previous generations, with a total capacity of 5000 mAh. It supports 30W fast charging, which can be piled up with a power of 50% in half an hour, and supports Qi protocol wireless charging.
