The upcoming Xiaomi POCO X5 5G model recently passed the BIS and FCC certification and seems to be close to its launch date. Although the mobile brand has not revealed a particular date for the launch but going by the speculation, it appears that it is very near. The device was once officially announcement will be the first smartphone to launch Mi 13 with MIUI 14.

According to the certification documents, this device has a 120Hz high-brush display, a matrix camera module powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus chip, a built-in 4900mAh battery, compatibility for dual-band Wi-Fi, and frequency bands for the n5, n7, and n38, n41, n77, and n78 5G standard.

Meanwhile, one of the intriguing aspects of this model is that the MIUI 14 operating system, which had previously been expected to come on the Xiaomi Mi 13, is already pre-installed. This device might be the first to come with MIUI 14 if it launches before the Xiaomi Mi 13. However, Xiaomi will typically still permit the initial introduction of its 13 series.

After all, its primary model is the digital series. Even if the launching of the Xiaomi 13 is delayed, the POCO X5 5G may follow suit. A separate sub-brand of Xiaomi called POCO was introduced for the Southeast Asian worldwide market. The Poco phone F1 was the first smartphone to bear the brand’s name.

Following several years of development, it has released several items, and its market performance in some places is also quite good. Some Chinese consumers are unaware of POCO because many of its models are improved iterations of Xiaomi and Redmi that have never been released in China.
