On December 8th we saw the official announcement of the most awaited iQOO 11 series in the Chinese market, which includes the iQOO 11 and iQOO 11 Pro model.

The smartphone succeeded the iQOO 10 series and significantly upgraded hardware specifications. Now, the mobile brand, iQOO has confirmed the launch date of the device in the Indian market.

iQOO’s CEO, Nipun Marya, in an interview today, confirmed that the iQOO 11 5G is now set to launch in India on January 10th. Still, the Pro model will not be official on the same day but rather at a later date.

According to him, the iQOO 11 Pro will not launch on January 10th. The phone could arrive later, but there are no concrete plans yet.

Speaking about the device, Nipun Marya pointed out that the iQOO 11 series come with some notable upgrades, which the company hopes will woo buyers with many firsts and many innovations.

“The iQOO 11 is going to be the world’s fastest smartphone because it is packed with a lot of innovations that the whole industry and the consumers have not seen. We’re talking about the first 8 Gen 2 in India. We are talking about a combination of LPDDR5 and UFS 4.0 Storage and Vivo’s proprietary graphics chip, which is the Vivo V2 Image chip.”

iQOO 11 Specs

The 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPO 4.0 display on the iQOO 11 boasts 3200 x 1440 pixels of resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, 1-120Hz variable refresh rate, 1.07 billion colors, DCI-P3 color gamut, up to 1800 nits of brightness, and 1440Hz PWM dimming.

The most recent Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC processor, along with an Adreno GPU, up to 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, power the phone. The device comes pre-installed with Android 13 and the OriginOS overlay, and it has a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

The iQOO 11 boasts three cameras on the back: an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a 13MP 2x telephoto camera with an f/2.46 aperture, and a 50MP primary Samsung GN5 sensor with an f/1.88 aperture, OIS, and LED light. A 16MP camera is available for selfies and video calls on the front.

Additionally, the phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, an infrared sensor, dual speakers, USB Type-C audio, Hi-Fi audio, and other features. 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC are among the available connectivity choices.
