According to a research group, Apple is expected to deliver all four variants of its new “iPhone 13” lineup in September, with larger batteries, an improved chipset, and expanded mmWave 5G connectivity.
On Thursday, TrendForce published its expectations for the device, which it claims will be released in September as usual. The research group predicts that total iPhone shipments will increase by 30% year over year in the third quarter of 2021, thanks to the new models.
The research also details some of the features TrendForce anticipates on the new “iPhone 13” models, which are broadly in line with earlier speculations and predictions.
The “iPhone 13,” for example, is expected to contain larger batteries and a new 5nm A15 processor, according to the research group. It could also boost the number of countries that support mmWave 5G. All of these appear to be based on previous rumors, leaks, and supply chain reports from other experts.
Other reports claim that the “iPhone 13” will include a new 120Hz ProMotion display as well as more professional camera functions such as ProRes video recording. According to a July report, the “iPhone 13 Pro” models would be replaced with a bronze-like “Sunset Gold” color.
In September, Apple usually releases new iPhone models. It released the iPhone 12 series in October 2020, partly due to the epidemic. According to most recent rumors, the corporation will resume its typical release schedule.
