Lava launches Agni 5G Smartphone Launches With a Quad-camera Setup in India

Lava Agni 5G smartphone was launched in India on November 9, 2021. It is the first 5G smartphone to be manufactured by the company Lava. The new 5G smartphone will compete against smartphones such as the Realme 8s 5G, Moto G 5G, and the Samsung Galaxy M32 5G in the Indian market.

The Lava Agni 5G smartphone features a 6.78-inch of the full-HD+ display, and it runs on Android 11. The front display comes with a punch-hole design that houses the selfie camera. Under the hood, the smartphone runs on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. Moreover, the display offers a refresh rate of 90Hz, and it comes with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass.

The backside of the smartphone comes with a quad-camera setup which consists of a 64 MP primary sensor with an f/1.79 six-piece lens, a 5MP wide-angle shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and another 2MP macro shooter. What is interesting about the camera of the Lava Agni 5G smartphone is that it comes with 10 preloaded camera features, including an AI Mode, Super Night, and a Pro Mode. As for the selfie camera, which is situated inside the punch-hole design, it is 16 MP. Lava has provided the smartphone with a 5000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. Lava claims that it takes 90 minutes for the battery to be charged fully. For security, a fingerprint scanner is mounted on the side of the smartphone. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

Lava is offering the smartphone in a single memory variant of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The price of the smartphone is set at INR. 19,999. The smartphone will go on sale on November 18 through Amazon, Flipkart, and other offline retailing stores.
