In 2019, Ace Combat 7 embarked on a gaming adventure on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, spellbinding gamers with its high-flying aero-dogfights. Now, the game, which received rave reviews, is making its way to be integrated into the Nintendo Switch with the upcoming release of the Deluxe Edition.

If you play your cards right, then you might be able to obtain what you are up to without making any noise to lure the enemy out from the den. The Switch version of Ace Combat 7, known as the Deluxe Edition, vows to offer an enhanced gaming experience by incorporating a variety of previously released downloadable content (DLC). This substantial bundle, subsuming the Season Pass content from other platforms, adds significant value to the game. Bandai Namco has explained the Deluxe Edition DLC, which features:

  • The base Ace Combat 7 game
  • Three aircraft sets: ADF-11F Raven Set, ADF-01 FALKEN Set, ADFX-01 Morgan Set
  • Three new missions: Unexpected Visitor, Anchorhead Raid, Ten Million Relief Plan
  • Music Player mode
  • Playable F-104C Avril aircraft
  • Playable F-4E Phantom II aircraft
  • Three aircraft skins from previous games in the series
  • Eight emblems from past games in the series

While the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions included additional DLC, Bandai Namco has assured fans that the remaining content will become available for the Switch version post-release, albeit at an additional cost.

Ace Combat 7 received critical acclaim on the PS4 and Xbox One, with Metacritic scores of 80 and 79, respectively. The Deluxe Edition’s encompassment on the Nintendo Switch provides a new opportunity for fans and neophytes alike to experience the thrilling dogfights and gripping storyline of the game.

It’s worth noting that while Ace Combat 7 marks the first mainline installment on the Switch, the series has made previous appearances on Nintendo platforms. In 2005, Ace Combat Advance, a spin-off, embraced the Game Boy Advance (GBA). Additionally, a 3DS remake of Ace Combat 2 titled Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy was released in 2011, receiving an updated version in 2015 with added support for amiibo figures.

On the horizon of Ace Combat 7: Deluxe Edition on the Nintendo Switch, fans can anticipate taking to the skies once again and relishing the intense aerial combat that the series is renowned for.
