MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS AND BUG FIXES
Fortunately, the developers have listened to your feedback regarding collisions (both player-to-player and with the environment) throughout Season Zero. They’ve made significant improvements to make collisions less extreme in v28.20.
Collisions no longer disable throttle for the duration of the hazard effect. Instead, they apply a higher speed reduction penalty and reduce acceleration to ensure smoother drifts. The team will be monitoring how these changes affect Season Zero and welcomes your feedback on whether these adjustments enhance the racing experience.
Additionally, the new update addresses various issues meticulously:
- Fixed an issue where spectators were sometimes removed for being idle as a race was finishing.
- Addressed the issue where going Turbo after speed boosting or drafting would cause you not to gain as much speed as intended.
- Enhanced image quality on the post-race screen.
