It has been only a month since Apple’s last update to iOS 13.6, and now the company has released another update again, the iOS 13.6.1 and iPadOS 13.6.1. The update mostly focuses on fixing some issues related to the Exposure Notifications and works towards making the display exhibit a green tint.

iOS 13.6 was released in July, and the netizens were quite excited about it mainly because the update added a new Car key function. The Car Key is a digital key that comes equipped with the ability to lock, unlock, and start supported vehicles. The last update also introduced Apple News+ Audio that offered its users professionally narrated audio stories curated by the Apple News team. Barely a month has passed, and the California based company is already rolling out iOS 13.6.1 and iPadOS 13.6.1 for all of its users.

As for the new updates, one of the most noticeable features of the new update is that it fixes a problem that could cause a notable green tint on the display screen of some of the iPhone models.

Apple acknowledges that this problem was caused by thermal management failure and that the developers have come up with a solution through the iOS 13.6.1.

The new updates, the iOS 13.6.1 and the iPad 13.6.1 are now available for all Apple devices that are already compatible with the iOS 13 and iPadOS 13. It looks like almost all the users have received this update, and now they can download and install the latest update on their respective iPhone, iPad touch, and iPad through the Software Update menu in the Settings app.

As is the case with any new updates, for users to update their software, they need to make sure that they are connected to a Wi-Fi network with at least 50% of battery power.

In conclusion, the new update addresses an issue where unnecessary system data files might not be automatically deleted when storage is low, fixes a thermal management issue, and fixes an issue regarding the Exposure Notifications.
