As scheduled, Honor has begun the official launch event of its flagship smartphone, the Honor 90 5G, in India. The smartphone had already been unveiled in May this year in the home country of the Chinese mobile manufacturer. The India launch event began at 12:30 PM today and is being live-streamed on the brand’s YouTube channel.
Honor 90 Launched in India: Pricing and Availability
While the event is still ongoing, the Chinese brand has announced the official launch price to be ₹34,999. Honor revealed the price at the launch event, which was leaked by tipster Abhishek Yadav. The official launch poster shared by the tipster confirms this.
In the poster, Honor confirmed that the new Honor 90 featured a 3840Hz PWM Eye Comfort Display and came with 400 service centers and a 30-day OTC replacement policy. The device is available in four color options: Diamond Silver, Peacock Blue, Midnight Black, and Emerald Green. As part of the launch offer, the smartphone is going from ₹32999 with an extra ₹2000 off on exchange.
The Honor 90 5G 8GB+256GB version comes with RAM Turbo up to 5GB goes official for ₹37,999, whereas Honor is currently offering it for ₹27,999. On the other hand, the 12GB+512GB with RAM Turbo up to 7GB is priced at ₹39,999 with a ₹29,999 current launch offer. The smartphone will go on sale in India starting from 18th September. According to the brand, a ₹3000 instant discount is available on ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, CC, DC, and EMI transactions.

Prior to today’s official launch, the Honor 90 5G had been teased to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED quad-curved display with 1.5K resolution, a 5000mAh battery, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition processor, up to 19 GB of RAM, 512 GB of internal storage, and a new cooling system.
