Huawei Nova 5i has appeared on Geekbench, the performance testing portal. This device could be announced soon and possibly be the last device of the company to include Android 9 Pie. Or the first time to arrive with the company’s own operating system. These are its characteristics.

According to the Geekbench file, the Huawei Nova 5i comes with model number GLK-LX3 and will have a Kirin 710 processor. This chip has already been seen in more devices, such as the Huawei P Smart 2019 or even the Huawei P30 Lite. In this case, it will come accompanied by 4 GB of RAM. An interesting feature is that it will have Android 9 Pie, despite the sanctions of the United States to the company.

How could this mobile come with this version of Android? Mainly because the US veto of Huawei has been temporarily suspended until next August, so in principle, the company can continue to use the services of Google and its operating system. Another reason could be that this device has obtained a license from Google before the veto of Donald Trump. Something that it seems that the Honor 20 did not achieve, according to different sources.

It would be weird to see this device with Android 9 when we know that in a few months, Huawei could run out of updates to future versions. Maybe the Huawei Nova 5i is the first mobile of the company to arrive with its own operating system since, according to the latest details, this OS will be launched in June.

The Huawei Nova 5i would have a design very similar to the Nova 4 that has already been presented, with a full screen and a camera on the panel located in the upper area. In addition, it would arrive with a double or triple main camera on a glass back. We do not know its release date.
