Earlier this morning, several leaks online revealed that the Chinese smartphone brand and manufacturer company iQOO is set to unveil the new iQOO nine series in India by January 2022.
Expectation has been awaiting the iQOO eight series to arrive in India; reports of its successor iQOO nine series launch have started doing the rounds.
The new iQOO nine series was recently discovered on the Indian IMEI database, with an apparent model number of V2171A.
Equally, GizNext has published their study’s iQOO nine series main specs and India launch timeline. According to GizNext, the iQOO nine series will launch in the country as early as January 2022, citing industry sources. The iQOO nine and iQOO 9 Legend are the two gadgets in the series.
The iQOO nine series is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s forthcoming Snapdragon 898 flagship chipset. If not the standard iQOO, the iQOO 9 Legend will have an AMOLED curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The new smartphone iQOO nine would boast a 4400 mAh battery with 120W fast-charging support. Rumors revealed that the smartphone might run OriginOS on top of Android 11.
The new iQOO nine will also come with an 8 GB processor, 6.62 inches display, 48 MP + 13 MP + 13 MP rear camera, and a 16 MP Selfie camera.
