Just yesterday, LG Electronics announced that it will be unveiling next-generation transparent antennas that will enhance telecommunication for automobiles at the upcoming CES 2024, slated for January in Las Vegas, in partnership with renowned French glass manufacturer Saint-Gobain Sekurit. Now, the Korean tech giant has taken the tech world by storm with the release of two groundbreaking laptops.

The laptop – the LG Gram 2024 series, features the latest Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processors and is poised to set new benchmarks in the world of ultrabooks. LG’s Korean website hosted the official unveiling of the new laptops, and according to the brand, other versions will be available at the CES 2024 on January 9 next year.

Introducing the LG Gram 2024 Series

The newly unveiled LG Gram 2024 laptops come in two distinct models: the 16-inch variant (16Z90S) and the larger 17-inch counterpart (17Z90S). Weighing in at a mere 1199g and 1350g, respectively, these laptops redefine portability without compromising on performance. With sleek thicknesses of 16.8mm and 17.8mm, the 16-inch and 17-inch models are priced at 1.89 million won (approximately $1,445.26) and 1.99 million won (approximately $1,521.91), respectively.

Both models boast anti-glare IPS screens with a WQXGA resolution of 2560 x 1600, covering an impressive 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Despite a brightness of 350nit, these laptops deliver a visual experience that is captivating.

Under the hood, the LG Gram 2024 is equipped with 16GB LPDDR5x (7467 MHz) memory and a spacious 512GB NVMe solid-state drive, ensuring seamless multitasking and rapid data access. The inclusion of a PCIe 4.0 x 4 expansion slot and U.S. Department of Defense durability test certification further reinforces its cutting-edge capabilities.

With the Gramme 2024 series, LG has given connectivity a priority. These laptops meet a variety of user needs with features such as two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 interfaces, two Type-C interfaces (USB 4, Thunderbolt 4, PD, LAN), an HDMI interface, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a security lock, and a microSD card reader. The expansion opportunities are endless.

Dolby Atmos compatibility, dual 2W stereo speakers, and dual 5W smart amplifiers ensure immersive multimedia experiences. Top-notch security is ensured by the laptops’ dual microphones, Windows Hello compatibility, and FHD infrared web cameras. User convenience is increased with the full-size, illuminated keyboard with 100 keys that includes a numeric keypad.

Additionally, the LG Gram 2024 laptops also feature an Intel AX211 wireless network card that supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E, providing fast and dependable communication. These devices come pre-installed with vital applications such as McAfee, Gramme Link, and Windows 11 Home Edition, ensuring a flawless user experience.
