For years, Xiaomi has been known for its Redmi Notebook. But in 2021, the brand introduced the first Pro series notebook – the RedmiBook Pro, which is not only equipped with hardcore but also has very high-end workmanship, which is completely unique from the main Redmi notebook.

Just recently, it officially unveiled the new Redmi Book 14 with a starting price of 3699 yuan. Like the predecessors, the new notebook was very popular after it went on sale. However, in a new development, the Chinese brand has officially announced that the new generation of RedmiBook Pro will be released next week.

Lu Weibing, the partner of Xiaomi Group and general manager of the Redmi brand, who uncovered the development, posted the warm-up of the RedmiBook Pro series on his Weibo account and said it is coming soon.

The post reads: “Redmi Book 14 has been well received after its release, and many friends urged the Pro series. As the high-performance role of the 5,000 yuan flagship thin and light notebook, the new RedmiBook Pro has been greatly upgraded!”

The New Generation RedmiBook Pro Series

As revealed by Lu Weibing, the new RedmiBook Pro will be Redmi’s first thin and light family notebook Pro. The Pro series is positioned as a high-performance flagship thin and light notebook at 5,000 yuan, and the digital series is positioned as a high-performance thin and light notebook at 4,000 yuan. According to the brand, the device will be officially unveiled next week.

The existing notebook is equipped with a 2.8K super-retina primary color screen, which has a 100% sRGB high color gamut, and the color accuracy is approximately equal to 0.41, which is comparable to professional-grade monitors. It also supports dynamic adjustment of 60Hz/120Hz refresh rate and supports Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos.

Additionally, the device also comes with the 12th generation Intel Core i7-12700H processor. Through in-depth joint adjustment with Intel, the high score has passed the strict Evo certification; supplemented by a dual fan and dual heat pipe hurricane cooling system, it can bring 45W flagship-level fury performance. And with a new mold design, the all-metal body is more refined, and the precision sandblasting feels warm and more resistant to wear.

Although Lu Weibing didn’t disclose more detail about the new Notebook Pro series, however, judging from the current Redmi Book 14, we expect similar features with some upgrades ranging from the design, specs, and processor. Thus, stay connected with TechGenyz as we look forward to the performance of the new Redmi Book Pro when announced next week.
