Microsoft, about their fresh updates, unveiled in their statement this past week that the snipping tool function along with the phone link feature would be represented in an even enhanced manner to improvise the entire capture experience across the board.

After this update, the snipping tool, precisely an inbuilt feature in the Windows system, would now permit you to access the new text manipulation function. After you take the screenshot using the snipping tool, the feature will pop up three options on your screen: copy text, select all, and redact text. To copy the text detected in the screenshot, you are supposed to press Ctrl+C, whereas Ctrl+A would be pressed to select all and Ctrl+R to redact text.

About the snipping tool version 11.2308.33.0, Microsoft officially stated that the ‘redact text’ enables you to edit the text in a screenshot as per your preference concerning all the information that is sensitive to you. Moreover, the corporation even suggested that as soon as you press the quick redact option from the toolbar, the system would swoon and put the information as private as contact numbers, emails, and other contact details out of sight.

On the other hand, about the phone link, it was revealed that through this feature, you can tie in your mobile phone with the snipping tool on your computer and make the necessary edits to the screenshots on your Android device through your PC. In addition, it was also made known by Microsoft that the users will get a notification of the screenshot taken on their Android device; meanwhile, the connection is bided between the two.

Nonetheless, access to these unique features being introduced by Microsoft would primarily be given to the developers, while the official dates for the launch for users across the globe are yet to be made. So follow us to get further updates and share your views and feedback regarding the same.
