After several leaks, OnePlus has finally opened The Lab applications for the next Nord smartphone, probably the OnePlus Nord 3. In the last few weeks, the Nord 3 smartphone has received several renders ranging from color options to specs, design, and pricing.
In a press release via its community, OnePlus confirmed the opening of The Lab applications for the next Nord smartphone. Although the brand did not reveal the exact smartphone based on our speculation and numerous leaks, it is likely to be the expected Nord 3 smartphone.
OnePlus’s Lab
The OnePlus’s Lab is a community review program for the next Nord smartphone. The Lab is now live on the OnePlus Community and users from Europe, India and the countries of the APAC regions can now apply to review the next OnePlus Nord device which is the OnePlus Nord 3 Application that closes on the 25th of June 2023.
The Lab was first introduced to the OnePlus 3 and 3T, to get unfiltered reviews from users; It is a campaign where reviewers are selected based on their content creativity, rather than their follower count. Over the years, the brand has received incredible content and honest reviews from users, making the Lab a successful and cherished tradition within the Community.
OnePlus Nord 3 Expected Specs
WinFuture speculates that the Nord 3 will have a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 octa-core SoC and a 5000mAh battery might be used to power the phone. The battery might support 80W charging, enabling the smartphone to charge from zero to 100 percent in less than an hour.
Meanwhile, coming to the optical secession, there will be three cameras despite the back having two cutouts. A 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera would supposedly be present on the Nord 3. Android 13, 5G, an under-display fingerprint reader, up to 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage are a few further rumored features.
Since the official launch is yet to be announced, the OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone’s cost is yet unknown, however, the new Nord 3 may cost as little as Rs 30,000 or as much as Rs 35,000. Due to its flagship-grade Dimensity 9000 SoC, which also powers the OnePlus Pad tablet, the Nord 3 could reach 40,000.
