OxygenOS 10.0.7 was released for the OnePlus 7T back in December 2019, along with the November 2019 security patch. The update offered a bunch of software enhancements and stability movements that overall improved the function of the already brilliant smartphone from OnePlus.

Two of the most notable and mention-worthy changes of the new version of the OS had to be the November 2019 patch and the camera quality improvements.

But for most people, there was some room left for improvement even after OxygenOS 10.0.7 was rolled out; for example, people believed that the RAM management optimizations could be better, and the black and white screen issues could have been dealt with for the OnePlus 7T devices.

Anyway, as a short recap, the new OxygenOS 10.0.7 for the OnePlus 7T came with improved launching speed of some apps, improved system stability and general bug fixes. In the camera department, the picture quality improved by a large margin.

Fast-forwarding to 2020, OnePlus finally launched the OxygenOS 10.0.7 update for its OnePlus 7 models. It is understandable that since updates are gradually rolled out, it takes some time before reaching every device available, but the new update is set for OnePlus’s other smartphone, OnePlus 7.

The new improvements for OnePlus 7 with the 10.0.7 update are a little different from that of OnePlus 7T. The new update is 202MB in size, and under System, the update says to improve the wireless connection for OnePlus Buds.

It also comes with a range of new clock styles that the users can customize according to their preference and fixed the ‘double tap to unlock’ issue. The security patch was updated to 2020.07. Furthermore, for enhancing the reading experience, the new update added the Chromatic effect option. Finally, it has adapted to the Bluetooth hearing aid app connection under the Android Streaming for Hearing Aid Agreement.
