Ahead of November 23rd, the official launch date of the Realme GT 5 Pro, a new leak has confirmed the upcoming smartphone to feature a 50 MP Sony IMX890 camera sensor and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Earlier this month, the Chinese mobile brand officially announced the launch date of its flagship smartphone, the Realme GT 5 series, which includes the Realme GT 5 base model and the Pro variant.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav, who leaked the specifications ahead of the official launch date, shared some poster images confirming the details via his X (formerly Twitter) handle. The Sony IMX890 camera with 50MP, F/2.6, and OIS+EIS is confirmed in the poster. Additionally, Qualcomm’s latest processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, is also ascertained therein. Before today’s leak, the device had already been listed on the TENAA website. The listing suggested that the smartphone will come with a bright display, an upgraded telephoto camera, and fast charging capabilities, as well as large storage of up to 1TB and a recent processor. Therefore, given the leak, it appears that the smartphone is in line and coming as expected.
Other expected specifications of the device include a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,264 x 2,780 pixels and memory configuration options that have 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM, coupled with storage variants ranging from 128GB to an impressive 1TB. Moreover, a large 5,400mAh battery that supports both 50W wireless charging and 100W wired charging is expected to power the upcoming Realme phone.
As it stands now, there is no information regarding smartphone pricing or availability. However, we expect the device to be priced within the range of ₹30,000 to ₹34,490 in India.
