When Realme launched the Realme X smartphone back in 2019, the Chinese company also announced a special Master Edition version of the same device. The Master Edition was designed and manufactured in collaboration with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. Realme has come a long way since then, and the company has also launched the Master Edition versions for Realme X2 Pro and Realme X50 Pro flagship smartphones. A few online sources claim that following the recent fresh information, the company is also working on the Master Edition handset for its Realme GT set.

On June 22nd, 2021, Realme CMP Xu Qi shared on Weibo a picture that had Xu Qi himself, Fukasawa and other Realme executives tease the arrival of a new Master Edition. Although Xu Qi did not mention which device will be available in the new Master Edition, a few sources claim that after Realme X2 Pro and the Realme X50 Pro, Realme’s GT model will be available in its Master Edition, soon.

Recently, everyone noticed that Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme GT Master Edition. The fact that Realme is teaming up with Fukasawa again is telling of the arrival of the newly furbished GT model.

The Realme GT 5G smartphone features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a 32 MP front camera, and a triple camera system with a 64MP main shooter. Moreover, the smartphone runs on the Snapdragon 888 and it comes with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The phone also comes with a 4500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.

Realme X9 series is supposed to be launched by mid-July. Thereby, there is a high possibility that the GT Master Edition might get launched in the next few days. Although no information is available on the specs of the Master Edition of the GT smartphone, it might come with a new rear design and color just like the previous Master Edition smartphones.
