Last week, the Chinese smartphone giant, Realme, confirmed the official launch date of the upcoming Realme 9 series for today, February 16, by 1:30 pm IST.
Ahead of the official launch today, it has been discovered that the upcoming Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G is the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G with slight changes.
@yabhishekhd who broke the news via his Twitter page reveals some slight changes features of 90Hz AMOLED display, a 1000nits brightness, an in-display fingerprint scanner for more secure unlocking, with health monitoring benefits up to 8 unlock animations, and heart rate monitor detection.
Given the leak, the upcoming Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G is expected to come in a 6.52-inch display size while the Realme 9 Pro Plus 5G will feature a 6.4-inch display. For the camera, the duo smartphone features a triple camera of 50 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP and 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP of Realme 9 Pro+ and Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G respectively.
The Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G is powered by a mighty battery of 5000 mAh size while the Realme 9 Pro+ comes with 4500 mAh. Also, the duo smartphone comes with 6 GB RAM each, but the Narzo features 64 GB internal memory while the Realme 9 Pro Plus comes with 128 GB internal memory.
However, the other specifications of the upcoming Realme 9 series have been reported to include a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC paired with an Arm Mali-G68 GPU powered by the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor with optical image stabilization is also confirmed for the smartphone (OIS). The Light Shift Design on the Realme 9 Pro 5G and Realme 9 Pro+ 5G changes color when exposed to sunshine.
In addition, the Realme 9 Pro comes in two color options: Sunrise Blue and an unidentified Green. The future smartphones will also feature a Light Shift Design, although it will only be available in Sunrise Blue. When exposed to direct sunlight, the handset changes color.
According to the Realme Vice President, Madhav Sheth in an AMA session on YouTube said the Realme 9 Pro series will be priced above the Rs. 15,000 mark, the vanilla Realme 9 Pro price could begin at Rs. 18,999, while Realme 9 Pro+ could start retailing from Rs. 24,999.
