Samsung Announces the Galaxy Tab Active3 which will be a tablet for rugged environment and situations based on the popular Tab Active2 design and will come with a sleek, compact design for portability.
The Tab Active3 will focus and provide emphasis on improving employees’ productivity and safety. It will cater to employees whose job is field-based and shall include features like Touch Sensitivity to for those who use gloves for working safely in the toughest environments and conditions.

It is MIL-STD-810H certified for extreme works in extreme places and now it will have a better shock absorption to take drops of up to 1.5 meters with an inbox protective cover. It is also IP68 rated3 dustproof and water-resistant, for unpredictable outdoors.
It will house the powerful Exynos 9810 processor, 4GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage, with Wi-Fi 6 with MIMO support for greater data transfer speeds. It will also come with a replaceable 5050mAh battery4 supporting fast charging through USB and POGO.
The Tab Active3 now supports “No Battery Mode” for power without a battery for work that rewires you to station at a place.
Samsung guarantees a PC-like experience with this where the Samsung Dex is now available on the Tab Active3, enabling a dual-screen facility that allows one to take tasks from anywhere, in the office, in the field.
The 13MP rear camera provides perfect clarity for both taking pictures or scanning detailed documents and the 5MP front camera is great as well. The Augmented Reality will be supported by Google ARCore and is now with services, such as remote training.
The Active Key on the side of the device will provide instant access to the apps or programs used most often; great for emergency calls, scanning or Push to Talk6, etc The GalaxyTab Active3 is optimized for barcode scanning via camera to help retailers easily manage inventory and scan products for purchase.
The Tab Active 3 also supports NFC with EMV Level 1 for payments and the Touch Sensitivity allows users to continue using wearing gloves. It will also come with an IP68 Certified S Pen for signature capture and managing complex documents where the S-Pen is also water and dust resistant.
The Tab Active3 and the rugged XCover Pro smartphone will support up to three generations of Android OS upgrades. The Tab Active3 will be protected by Samsung Knox, besides the Android security updates.
The former can be utilized in a custom fashion by IT administrators to manage the programs and apps used across the business; giving complete control over the mobile fleet and allowing employees to focus on the job at hand.
The new Galaxy Tab Active3 will be available in some markets from today, not only in Europe and Asia but other places too but at a later date.
