Samsung launched a new smartphone that will be budget-friendly to a lot of consumers, in India. The latest offering from the tech giant is named the Galaxy M02s. The smartphone, budget-wise, falls under the Rs 10,000 segment. However, Samsung has not compromised with any of the specs of the smartphone.

The Galaxy M02s features a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity V display that comes with a notch on top. Under the hood, the smartphone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. It offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The on-board storage could be expanded up to 1 TB using a microSD card slot.

In keeping with the latest trends in the smartphone market, the Samsung Galaxy M02s too offers a triple camera setup on its back. The camera setup consists of a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2 MP depth sensor. For the selfie camera, the smartphone features a 5 MP camera. Some of its camera features include selfie focus and live beauty. The smartphone runs on a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy M01s came out in India last July. The Galaxy M01s too was a budget smartphone. The base model which is the 3GB+32GB variant is priced at INR. 8,999. The other variant of the smartphone, the 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage is priced at INR. 9,999. The smartphone is offered in three color options of black, blue, and red.

The phone is available for purchase in India through online retailers such as Amazon India, and the Samsung eStore, and through retail outlets starting from January 7, 2021.
