Sony officially launched the Xperia 5 smartphone in the Chinese market for CNY5,399 or USD760. This smartphone is marketed through a pre-order program on Sony’s official website with the SCBJ10 Fashion Case offering and a microSD256GB card for free.

Xperia 5 is Sony’s latest flagship device with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor chipset support, accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage space.

The Sony Xperia 5 device comes with a 6.1-inch FHD + screen size and 21: 9 aspect ratio, and is supported by three rear cameras with the main lens with a 12MP resolution, 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 12MP telephoto lens.

Previously, Sony has started a pre-order program for this device in the European market in early September and is scheduled to be distributed to countries in the European region in early October.

Meanwhile, this smartphone will greet US consumers in December. According to Sony’s official website in France, Xperia 5 is marketed for EUR800.

Introduced at the IFA 2019 last event, the Xperia 5 is staying as the successor to Sony’s flagship device Xperia 1. However, this smartphone is called the successor of the compact size of the Xperia 1.

Supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, Sony Xperia 5 smartphone is not supported by compatibility with 5G networks, because this chipset is accompanied by a regular LTE X24 model. This device also features the ability to deliver satisfying sound quality, thanks to the support of Dolby-Atmos technology.

Meanwhile, Sony announced the new Walkman as a form of celebration of the 40th anniversary of this device, named the NW-A100TPS Walkman. This new device is claimed by Sony to be presenting a rich sound output related to vocals.

In addition, the Sony NW-A100TPS Walkman also promises a unique touch on mid-tones and bass. Questioning the appearance, this special edition Walkman comes with a special chassis, resembling the design carried by Sony’s first cassette player, the TPS-L2, which was first launched in 1979.
