We might see Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi launching two versions of their flagship smartphones, Xiaomi Mi5 and Xiaomi Mi5 Plus by the end of 2015. Noted Weibo leaker KJuma claimed a massive leak about Xiaomi Mi5 and also leaked details about another variant of the same flagship supersized Xiaomi Mi5 Plus.
Detailed product specifications of two rumored devices are reported in The Phone Arena, anticipates that Mi5 will come in a 5.2-inch display with Snapdragon 810 SoC and a 64-bit octa-core processor. The devices will also include 3GB or 4GB of RAM and internal memory capacity can vary from 16GB to 64GB for both variants.
On the other hand, Mi5 Plus, expected to be a supersized 5.7-inch phablet, may come with HD resolution, packed with Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon 820 SoC processor. Though no official announcement has been made from Xiaomi, the reports suggest that Mi5 will come with 16MP rear camera and Mi5 Plus supposed to have 24MP main camera in addition to its 13MP selfie camera.
Leaked specifications also claimed Xiaomi Mi 5 and Mi 5 Plus are expected to run Android 5.1.1, or a later version of Google’s operating system, decorated with Xiaomi’s own MIUI skin.
Some leaked materials claims that the Xiaomi Mi5 will be powered with 3000mAh battery and that may have a price tag to the tune of $371 – $386. In contrast Xiaomi Mi5 Plus might come with 3500mAh battery and its price could escalate to as much as $600.
Report also claims that two rumored devices expected to have a fingerprint scanner involved as well. Though it is speculated that the devices to be available by the end of 2015, we are expecting more information in the upcoming days.
