ZTE officially unveiled the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra Aerospace Edition today in China. Even though it was the event’s main attraction, other phones were also introduced. Additionally, the mobile giant also introduced a brand-new colorway for an existing handset.
The ZTE Yuanhang 40 Pro Plus Starry Sky Edition is simply the original phone from last month in a different color. In terms of features, the new version is identical to the standard model. Only the rear design makes a difference.
The rear AG glass screen of this phone replicates a light blue sky with a spiral of stars, as the name implies. The sky picture by Van Gogh served as inspiration for the design.
Compared to the Nubia Z40S Pro Starry Night Edition, the color palette is paler. ZTE isn’t charging more for the ZTE Axon 40 Pro Plus Starry Sky Edition despite its redesigned rear appearance. The price is the same ($307) for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage at ¥2,198.
The device’s principal features include a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, a 64MP main camera, a 16MP selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, NFC, a 4,510mAh battery, and support for 66W rapid wired charging. Pre-orders for the smartphone are presently being taken and will be available starting on December 6.
