Android 7.0 Nougat update

A new release has been landed for HTC T-Mobile and LG G Pad users comes with enhanced features and security improvements. This week Android 7.0 Nougat is bringing an update to the HTC 10 and LG G Pad X 8.0 devices. This Android update for T-Mobile HTC 10 contains full RUU Firmware with the build number 2.37.531.5 (1.22GB).

The new update for HTC 10 enhanced some bug fixes and security patch features. The devices which contains software number < 2.37.531.5 can proceed with this update. For the detailed instruction to update prefer the http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-10-t-mobile/news/.

In the case of LG G Pad X 8.0, the update is rolling out now via LG-Bridge, which is the desktop software management app (install that if you want the update immediately). This is usually the prelude to a full OTA deployment by T-Mobile for LG devices.

It is recommended that the device should have at least 35% battery and Wi-Fi connection to speed up the update. The poor mobile data connection may prompt during update.  Users need to wait for the update to arrive then they can proceed to click the update button.
