Lenovo launched today the YOGA C630 laptop. This flexible laptop, as the name suggests, runs on the Snapdragon 850 SDM850 processor with 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage, and has a 13.3-inch screen.
Using Snapdragon as the processor makes the laptops a lot cooler than using Intel or AMD hardware, resulting in a lot thinner laptop. In this respect, Lenovo has successfully made a thinner laptop.
Lenovo YOGA C630 weighs only 1.2 kg. As is the case with the other laptops in the Yoga line, the YOYA C630 can be flipped 360 degrees and used as a tablet also. The slightly thicker top bezel houses a webcam.
On its keypad, to the right of the trackpad, there is a fingerprint scanner which leads the users to sign in to their Windows 10 account in no time. The laptop houses an audio jack, a USB-C port, another USB-C port on the left-hand edge are for charging and data transfer. There is also a SIM card tray included in the laptop which opens with the help of a pin. Lenovo YOGA C630 is equipped with, what Lenovo calls, the ‘instant on’.
The Windows 10 login appears within seconds of hitting the power button. As mentioned earlier, the laptop comes equipped with a SIM card tray. The laptop also has a built-in Snapdragon X20 LTE modem.
What it means is that if the user has a 4G data plan, all the user needs to do is to insert the data in the SIM card tray and the Lenovo C630 will connect to the internet. It makes connecting the laptop to the internet on the move easy as the user would not need to connect the laptop to various Wi-Fi.
In this regard, it is also safer than using unknown Wi-Fi. The battery life of this laptop should be mentioned separately. The officials claim that its battery life can reach up to 25 hours on a single charge. It is priced at 5,999 yuan.
