Misfit has just released a new smart wearable – The Vapor X, a substantially improved product over its predecessor.
Fossil’s Misfit Vapor X smartwatch is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC that is fully compatible with Android and iOS handsets with an exception to Android Go and iOS (10+) handsets. The new smartwatch is also getting a new battery saving mode, just like the Fossil Gen 5 watches.
The wearable will come preloaded with new applications, including Spotify Misfit. It’s a nice touch considering the effort it takes to download apps on Wear OS in the first place.
Fossil’s Misfit smartwatch will be lighter with 4GB of storage, 512 MB of RAM, standalone GPS, heart rate monitoring, NFC payments, rapid charging, and water resistance up to 30 meters. It also features a 1.19-inch round display, 512 MB of memory, 4 GB of internal storage, up to 24 hours of autonomy on a single charge and heart rate monitoring. NFC with Google Pay support, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, advanced activity tracking, on-display call/text notifications, and more are available.
Misfit’s Vapor X smartwatch is available for a launch price of $199.99.
