After the conclusion of August’s Pokemon Go Community Day, the details for Pokemon Go September Community Day has been announced. It is supposed to take place on September 15, 2019, and will feature one of Gen 4’s starter Pokemon.

Pokemon Go Turtwig is going to be the featured monster for this September 2019 event. People can stock up on their Turtwig Candy this season as it will witness an abundance of Turtwigs. Apart from this, they will also get the first chance to catch a Shiny Turtwig. The Community day will also provide an event-exclusive move after the Turtwig has been evolved into a Torterra. However, this is not clear yet as to what this move is going to be. The tweet regarding the event reads, “Get ready, Trainers! This September’s #PokemonGOCommunityDay features the Tiny Leaf Pokémon, Turtwig! Set your alarms, as this Community Day will start at 11 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. local time!”

Pokemon Go Community Day Features and Bonuses

Niantic is offering some exceptional bonuses this community season. The players will be awarded the amount of Stardust than normal thrice for each Pokemon they catch. Any Lure Modules used during the gameplay will be effective and working for three hours rather than 30 minutes. Another Pokemon Go bonuses for September’s Community Day says it will run for three hours and unlike the past two monthly events which took place between 4-7 pm local time, this event will take place much earlier than that. On the other hand, there is still much time left to catch the Legendary Rayquaza. It will be available until September 2.

The players will be presented with the opportunity to encounter the Shiny version of the Sky High Pokemon which had appeared in the Raids before. Team Rocket is also making occasional appearances across the various PokeStops and their Shadow Pokemon. Their boss Giovanni is also expected to appear in the game soon enough.
