This year, Honor brand launched its fitness band Honor Band 5, which has hosted new updates and features. The device comes with an AMOLED display and a large battery.
Talking about a recent update the Honor Band 5 brought the remote music control function, which is a handy feature for users. The company has also added SpO2 monitoring with the latest update. Xiaomi launched the Mi Band 4 earlier this month with music control feature.
The Honor Band also features a real-rate heart rate monitor, sleep tracker. Along with this, you also get the swim stroke recognition feature. The Band 5 is water-resistant up to 50 meters (164 feet) that come with three color options.
Honor has listed the apps supported include Google Play Music, Spotify, YouTube, Shazam, Huawei music and many more. Remote music control is solely compatible with smartphones that run Android 5.0 and above. After the upgrade, Huawei Health App will be bumped to version 10.0.1.011 and the fitness band will be on version 1.1.0.93. The update is now being rolled out to all its users. The Honor Band 5 costs Rs. 2,599 in India.
