Call of Duty: Mobile is a free-to-play first-person shooter game that was developed by Tencent Games. It was announced way back in March and released as a beta version in selected countries in July 2019. From October 1, 2019 onwards people will be able to download the game on their Android and iOS devices.

The game is developed by Tencent and published by Activision. There will be free content updates in upcoming months like any other game. Call of Duty: Mobile is a new entry to the mobile battle world and it may give a tough competition to its competitors.

The mobile version of the game has more of what similar characters, combat mechanics and game settings just like the Call of Duty franchise PC games. It also features two in-game currencies, as well as a battle pass.

The game surely promises to live up our expectations with the signature Call of Duty features in its mobile version. Although the players must have a powerful phone to play the game with decent graphics and frame rate output. The game is now available for free download on Play Store and App Store.

System requirements:

For Android:

  • At least 2GB of RAM
  • A device running on Android 5.1 or above

For iOS:

  • Device running on iOS 9 or above

Call of Duty: Mobile will have five modes in total: Free-For-All, Frontline, Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, and Domination – apart from Battle Royale. The mobile version will also include characters and weapons from the PC versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The developers have infused the PC characters, e. g.

Alex Mason, Thomas Merrick, and Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley in the mobile version as well. The Loadout section will also have the option for augmentation and customization.

Players will have access to similar maps, e. g. Nuketown, Crash, Hijacked, Crossfire, Standoff, Crash and Killhouse. The developers have promised to introduce new content into the game eventually. The weapons are also open for customization in the game.

The multi-player version of the game is quite popular among the players. We have to wait and see how well the players accept the Call of Duty: Mobile version in terms of its famous PC mode. We should also watch out if it gets success in giving tough competition to its rival PUBG Mobile.
