The tech giant is apparently going to release Galaxy Watch Active 2 Golf Edition and Galaxy Watch Active 2 LTE aluminum models almost after a year. Above all, these two new watches will surely be a part of Samsung’s wearables. The watches will be released in Korea on February 28th, 2020.

Although we have seen some amazing features in the previous Galaxy watches, the company claims that these two new models have something different.

Galaxy Watch Active 2 Golf edition

A Samsung blog post claims that Galaxy Watch Active 2 Golf Edition is even smarter than its predecessors. It has a lightweight fluorine rubber golf standard strap and comes in a breathable design. It also has strong waterproofing technology without sweat and rain.

The watch also includes support for upgraded distance measurement. The built-in Smart Caddie application provides distance measurement functions for golf rounding, as well as information on more than 40,000 golf courses around the world. And this makes it special. The application is free for users.

The Galaxy Watch Active 2 Golf Edition will be available in two versions – the Aqua Black 44mm model and the Pink Gold 40mm model.

Galaxy Watch Active 2 LTE aluminum edition

Besides the Golf edition model, Samsung is also going to release Galaxy Watch Active 2 LTE aluminum model. This watch is also available in a stainless steel version. The company claims that the Active 2 LTE aluminum version reflects ‘the taste of millennials with modern matte design’.

Galaxy Watch Active 2 LTE aluminum model is also available in two versions- 44mm and 40mm. It comes in three color variants – Aqua Black, Cloud Silver, and Pink Gold.

The Golf edition of Active 2 watch will be available on the Samsung Electronics website, Samsung Digital Plaza, National Golf Zone Market, and online golf shopping site ‘Golping’ in Korea. On the other hand, the Aluminium edition will be up for sale at national carrier stores across the country.

Price and availability

We don’t have any news on their availability in India yet. The previous Galaxy Active 2 watches had a starting price of 25,990 INR in India. Being a special edition, we think that the golf model will retail above 30,000 INR; whereas the aluminum edition can have the same price range.
