Xbox Support team to look into Privacy Settings issues soon

Must Read

For every application, the privacy setting is a major and ingenious tool to keep it safe, secure, and in control. It’s the surveillance over the restrictions in using modern technology that can set things apart. With the growing cybercrime and various internet cons lingering onto it, a privacy setting is everything that one can aspire for especially when it comes to safeguarding children from various unwanted sites.

Xbox too has set an age-appropriate privacy control along with the other bonus features like managing one’s profile to restrict information for onlookers, or keeping a track of the gaming history. It also helps to keep a track of who one’s child might be communicating with online and restricting it if necessary. These developments are made to cater to a simple procedure of securing oneself from any cyber-harassment or fraudulence that is crowding the modern technological arena.

However, despite the usual privacy development, many users still remain unsatisfied with the sudden issues centralizing around the privacy settings and multiple Xbox users have raised complaints on the official support forum of Xbox. Taking heed to this drastic disruption, Xbox today tweeted saying,

Earlier, this troubleshooting was supposedly curbed by a step-by-step procedure suggested by the Xbox team:

If you’re having trouble changing your privacy and online safety settings on your Xbox One console, make sure you’ve done the following: You’re signed in to Xbox Live. You must be online and signed in to make changes. You’re signed in to the console using an adult account. Children and teens are restricted from making changes to their own privacy and online safety settings. If you receive an error message with an error code, enter the code in the search bar to find a solution for your specific error.”

However, several issues were raised despite the suggestion indicating a major throwback. Though the main source of origin of these bugs has not been traced down, the quick response to look into this matter itself seems that the Xbox team has already begun with their fixing and solutions. No particular time has been allotted for the duration of the fixing but it surely must not be delayed when it comes to such a serious concern for the safety and security of the public.
