The year 2020 bears witness to Realme’s advent into new tech areas. Earlier this year, the Chinese company entered the vast market of smartwatches, and now, as per the reports surfaced online, the company is almost at the brink of launching its new series of smartwatches, that will consist of two devices, as of now.

All the information regarding Realme’s new line of smartwatches that has surfaced online indicates that the two smartwatches will be the Realme Watch S and the Realme Watch S Pro.

A few weeks ago, news of the Realme Watch S Pro receiving the NEMKO certification surfaced online; the one from this line, the standard Watch S also has been certified by SIRIM. The certification did reveal a few of the specifications for the Realme Watch S Pro, but as for the Realme Watch S, the information available was almost next to nothing.

On October 8, the Tech Guy on Twitter uploaded pretty standard photos of both the upcoming smartwatches. The certification process revealed that the Pro variant will be powered by a 420mAh battery.

It further revealed that the watch will come with a round dial that measures 1.39-inches with an AMOLED touch display panel and a screen resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. Additionally, it has two side buttons for controls and a tachymeter on the dial. Realme Watch S and Watch S Pro will come with the support that will track steps, distance, and calories with automatic identification for both walking and running. It will also feature a dynamic heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring, and a SpO2 sensor. Other features are call notification, music control, camera control, and find your phone feature.

As mentioned earlier, the specs for the standard variant is not known, but it is expected to come with features similar to the Pro variant model. It is not yet known when both these smartwatches will get launched in India, and as for the price, we may expect it to be higher than the already announced Realme watch.
