There had been a lot of rumors surrounding Vivo and the apparent invention of its exclusive Origin OS. The smartphone giant, Vivo has confirmed that the developers at Vivo are almost finished building Origin OS. In a recent announcement, the company made it clear that the first installment of the Origin Studio, which took a year of meticulous working and polishing so that it glides on smoothly, will be coming to Vivo products very soon.

The launch of the Origin OS will certainly mark the start of a new era for Vivo. The company did not even shy away from labeling its new venture as “Brave New World.”

To come to the present scenario, Vivo’s smartphone currently is running on the Android-based Funtouch OS. In all likeliness, Vivo will push the Origin OS which, in turn, will work to replace the old Android OS that the Vivo smartphones are running on.

A few sources revealed that the Origin OS comes with a big change in UI style and that the tested system has a built-in Android and Origin OS switch button, that is, users could easily switch between using Android OS and Vivo’s very own. This inclusion of the switching capability points that the Origin OS will not completely obliterate Android OS and that users will get to choose the OS that they are more comfortable with, at least, in its initial phases.

The specific changes made on the Origin OS still remains a mystery, but a few of the Weibo users have pointed out that Origin OS will come with a new UI style that has a relatively large change. There is two style desktop, using a similar embossed design effect, between flat and projection. The Origin OS will be unveiled at the Vivo developer conference scheduled to take place on November 19.
