XIAOMI CEO, Lei Jun announces Mi 11 to feature the most powerful Snapdragon 888

Xiaomi is going gaga all over its biggest launch of the upcoming Mi11 that is going to set a record for hosting the most powerful chipset, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 this time. 

Xiaomi CEO, Founder, and Chairman, Lei Jun currently took to Twitter to announce their participation in the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit, were marking their 10th anniversary, Xiaomi joined hands with Qualcomm to bring their latest chipset, Snapdragon 888, and introduce them in their upcoming model. Speaking on it, Lei Jun announces the following over the online platform:

We have been joining hands with Qualcomm to bring an up-to-date mobile experience to users around the world. Snapdragon 888 is the most powerful mobile platform from Qualcomm ever. In addition to the industry-leading 5G connectivity, it has brought breath throughs and innovations in AI games and camera. With the launch of Snapdragon 888, I hope we can continue the great success achieved with Xiaomi Mi 10 series, and bring even greater surprises to Mi fans around the world. – Lei Jun

Although the launch date has not yet been announced, Lei Jun mentions this product bearing cutting-edge technology with top-notch features, that will be the new norm for most or all the Xiaomi products.

As per few other reports, rumors have resurfaced that the very pioneering model to host this chipset will be Mi 11 which might make its launch alongside Mi 11 Pro as well. It will further have 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and will come with 6GB of RAM. We might also see it featuring a QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, although nothing has been confirmed yet.

Coming back to the Snapdragon 888, It comes with the Snapdragon X60 5G modem. It also includes a sixth-generation Qualcomm AI Engine, keeping aside Xiaomi. This will be further incorporated by smartphone companies such as ASUS, Black Shark, Lenovo, LG, Meizu, OnePlus, Motorola, Nubia,  Oppo, Realme, and VIVO.
