This October, we witnessed the back-to-back launch of this year’s much-awaited devices, OnePlus 8T and iPhone 12 Pro by these globally-acclaimed premium brands.
For some, the iPhone still reigns as the leading brand in smartphones and other gadgets, while the rest have found big solace in OnePlus smartphones, enjoying features close to that of iPhone at a much affordable price.
Although the tug-of-war continues, the following specifications from both new launches have come up. It seems that there is quite something left for us to decide which is the best.

Design
When it comes to OnePlus 8T, we have a 6.55″ display with a resolution ranging from 2400 x 1080 pixels, and is aided by a 120 Hz AMOLED display.
The weight of the smartphone is 188 gm and is protected by gorilla glasses. Coming to iPhone 12Pro, in terms of design, we have 6.1″ and 6.7″ of OLED display, added to the resolutions between 2532 X 1170 pixel resolution, weighing around 189 gm.
Camera
For OnePlus 8T, we have the main camera with a quad-camera set up mounted at the back as 48 MP / 16 MP / 5MP / 2MP, respectively.
Here the selfie camera is 16 MP. In contrast to this, iPhone 12 Pro features a triple rear camera set-up, 12 MP each, and a selfie camera of 12 MP.
OS & processor
The OnePlus 8T comes with an Octa-core (1 x 2.84 GHz Kryo 585 & 3 x 2.42 GHz Kryo 585 & 4 x 1.8 GHz Kryo 585) as the CPU and Adreno 650 GPU, and hosts Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865, running on Android 11.
For iPhone 12 Pro, we have iOS 14.1 running on Apple A14 Bionic chipset and a Hexa-core CPU alongside Apple GPU (4-core graphics).
Memory Storage and battery
Talking about the OnePlus 8T, we have internal storage only of about 128 GB / 8 GB RAM, 256 GB /12 GB RAM, and aided by Li-Po 4500 mAh for 65W of faster charging.
On the other hand, in iPhone Pro, we get to witness 128 GB / 6 GB RAM, 256 GB / 6 GB RAM, 512 GB 6 GB RAM altogether running alongside a Li-Ion 2815 mAh, with 20W of faster charging as well as 15W of wireless charging.

Coming to the price, we have the One Plus 8T available at 49,999 INR, whereas the iPhone 12 Pro can be availed at 119,900 INR for the 128 GB RAM and 129,900 INR for 256 GB RAM, respectively.
