Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro true wireless earphones with intelligent active noise cancellation (ANC) have been launched, alongside the Galaxy S21 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The new earphones are available in three colors- violet, black, and silver.

The Buds come with an ‘auto-switch’ feature that lets the earphones maintain a connection with two Galaxy devices. And the user can switch as per their requirement.

The earphones are designed to work better with Samsung Galaxy devices, and when used with them, the earphones come with a 360 Audio with Dolby Head Tracking technology that syncs with the head movements.

To make the active noise cancellation work, Samsung Buds Pro comes with an in-canal fit design. This is where the new earphones deviate from the previous Galaxy Buds Live which failed to meet the user’s expectations.

Each earpiece on the Galaxy Buds Pro comes with three microphones- two on the outer side, the inside inner, and a separate voice pickup unit. Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro has a two-way driver system. Combining an 11mm woofer with a 6.5mm tweeter within the driver casing.

The Galaxy Wearable companion app has the ability to customize all features of the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro. Including but not limited to, adjusting the equalizer, active noise cancellation settings. The active noise cancellation on the new earphones can switch between ANC and Ambient Sound mode.

Samsung claims that the Samsung Galaxy Pro can work up to 8 hours on the earpieces with active noise cancellation off and 5 houses with it on. The earphones can last up to 28 hours with ANC off and 18 hours on with the charging case. The earpieces are IPX7-rated for water resistance.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro price is Rs. 15,990 in India, and now it is available for pre-booking. The earphones will go on sale starting 29th January 2021.
