OnePlus is reportedly gearing up for an announcement on March 4. The company is expected to announce the launch date of the upcoming OnePlus 9 series. Apparently, three smartphones will come under the OnePlus 9 series, namely the OnePlus 9, the OnePlus 9 Pro, and the third smartphone will be named either the OnePlus 9 Lite or the OnePlus 9E.

A few tipsters have proclaimed that the OnePlus 9 Lite will launch as the OnePlus 9R. There seems to be a lot of speculation surrounding the smartphone as yet another website has claimed that the OnePlus 9 Lite smartphone will be called the OnePlus 9E. Spigen’s website claims that the smartphone will be named OnePlus 9E directly contradicting the claims of famous Twitter leakers. In fact, the website has already listed the three smartphones on its website.

Although there seem to be disputes over the probable name of the upcoming smartphone, there remains no doubt that the smartphone will be top of its game, since the smartphones that the OnePlus offers always seem to meet the user expectations and get a green signal from the critics too. For the correct name of the smartphone, we will have to wait for the company to make official announcements. The company is all set to launch the OnePlus 9 series on March 23rd, while the announcement will be made on March 8.

The OnePlus 9R/ 9E will have a 6.5-inch 1080p 90Hz refresh display. Under the hood, the smartphone will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. At the back, the phone will house a 64 MP primary camera sensor with an f/1.7 lens. The camera setup will also have an 8 MP ultrawide lens. The smartphone is supposed to come with a 5000 mAh battery. More details to follow.
